Our man with the whistle at Welford Road, Wayne Barnes, had an excellent game. I understand his shirt was available on e-bay and had reached a bidding price of £51 with 3 days, 1 hour and 54 minutes left.
Last year, the special ‘Tackled Pink’ weekend for Breast Cancer Care featured our home game against Newcastle Falcons. The referee that day? Wayne Barnes again.
